Beyond Methuselah Wide Poster
Logline

When a medical treatment promises immortality, a religious family is torn apart while extremists mount a deadly response.

The Story

Three years ago an experimental cancer treatment had an unexpected side effect: immortality.

Some celebrate the discovery, others oppose it as defying God’s will. When the treatment is made universally available, a group of extremists escalate the culture war into a bloody one.

Now, two estranged sisters race to find their mother before the terrorists, while their father wrestles with how the rhetoric from his pulpit might be complicit with the mounting violence.

A visceral drama about how belief can bring us together – or violently tear us apart.

Why it Resonates Today

When we began working on Beyond Methuselah, we never imagined how closely it would mirror the reality of 2026. As ideological divides continue to fracture communities, this film explores the dangers of division and the slippery slope of righteousness. What began as “what if?” has become “what now?”

This is a story I've been trying to crack for over 20 years.
